Chipping and Green Waste Programs Suspended

The EDCFSC residential chipping and green waste programs have been suspended until further notice. We regret that we will not be able to accept new requests for chipping or green waste dumpster service until we receive grant payments from the program grantor. Board of Directors Meeting

PRC4291 Defensible Space Evaluation Training

The El Dorado County Fire Safe Council and CAL FIRE will sponsor a training session for Defensible Space Evaluatiors at 1:00 p. m. on Tuesday March 24th in the main conference room of the US Forest Service building at 100 Forni Rd in Placerville.

Pollock Pines-Camino Fire Safe Council Fundraising Event

The PPCFSC will hold a fundraising event on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 11:30 to 3:30 pm in the Courtyard  of the Historic Smith Flat House.  Tickets are $30 per person.  Includes Fashion Show, Raffle Baskets, and Silent Auction. [ ]

Congratulations Pollock Pines-Camino FSC !

The Pollock Pines-Camino Fire Safe Council came in fifth out of 338 nationwide entrys  and was awarded  a $500 grant from the National Fire Protection Association for the National Wildfire Community Preparedness Day on May 2nd.  This award money will be used for fire safe education and educational materials.
