The long awaited grant payment for the green waste programs has been received. The contractor expects to resume chipping on Thursday or Friday, May 14th or 15th. Requests in hand will be serviced first. It is expected to take up to two weeks to complete all of these requests. New applications will be accepted starting

The Pollock Pines-Camino Fire Safe Council came in fifth out of 338 nationwide entrys and was awarded a $500 grant from the National Fire Protection Association for the National Wildfire Community Preparedness Day on May 2nd. This award money will be used for fire safe education and educational materials.
The newly formed Pollock Pines-Camino Fire Safe Council has applied for a $500 grant from the National Fire Protection Association. The EDCFSC has resumed its chipping service and the link to the Request for Chipping application is now available. Our contractor has promised to provide resources needed to catch up with the backlogged requests. To all of you who have been waiting for your material to be chipped, we thank you for your patience.
We are currently experiencing delays in responding to requests for chipping. If you have submitted a request and have not yet been contacted we ask for your patience while we secure additional resources to reduce the backlog.
