The mission of EI Dorado County Fire Safe Council is
to protect the people of EI Dorado County and their
property from the effects of catastrophic wildfire
through education, cooperation, innovation and action.
Activities
SS-2
$250,000 is available from the US Forest Service for SS-2, shaded fuel break, which is identified on the Sierra Springs Regional Fire Safe Council CWPP. Mark Egbert of El Dorado County RCD is the grant project manager. Due to the Caldor Fire, the original project will have changes. Stay tuned for updates.
CCC
The California Conservation Corps is working on Sierra Springs Owners Association properties during January and February 2022. Thank you to the CCC for their great work and support of our community!
