EDC FSC IS SEEKING PROPOSALS TO PROVIDE CHIPPING

EL DORADO COUNTY FIRE SAFE COUNCIL IS SEEKING PROPOSALS FROM QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS TO PROVIDE RESIDENTIAL CHIPPING ON THE WEST SLOPE OF EL DORADO COUNTY.

Grant funding has been obtained from the United States Forest Service through the Grants Clearing House of the California State Fire Safe Council. The purpose of the grant is to provide residential chipping service to residents on the western slope of El Dorado County.  The grants are intended to assist homeowners in creating defensible space around structures and reduce risk of wildfire. Grant funds totaling $ 182,743 are available for the period January 2018 through July 2019.  Two contractors will be selected and the grant funds will be allocated on geographic location and job assignment.

Small businesses and minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to apply.
