Give Where You Live is El Dorado County’s version of the National Day of Giving- taking place on May 6th, 2014. The El Dorado Community Foundation is organizing the debut of this event in our county. Forty nonprofits from El Dorado Hills to South Lake Tahoe are participating and, thanks to the El Dorado County Office of Education, each organization has their very own giving webpage. To give on May 6th, visit eldoradocf.org and click on Give Where You Live.

In addition, you can drop off a donation at the Foundation office at 312 Main Street in Placerville, visit any El Dorado Savings Bank, or text 55000 with FIRESAFE in the message body.

This day is about giving, but also about highlighting the wonderful work going on behind the scenes at El Dorado County nonprofit organizations.
Mark your calendars for May 6th and stay tuned!
WHY GIVE LOCAL?

It’s simple… Giving to your community nonprofits=services back to your community.

You’ll see the results of your gifts in:

  • The faces of children in your neighborhood
  • The services to seniors you know
  • The continuance of community events for you and your family
  • The healthy success of our local youth
  • The educational choices available to us all
