About Us

The El Dorado Hills South Fire Safe Council is made up of 3 communities in the south are of El Dorado Hills.  They include Four Seasons, Heritage and Heritage Carson Creek.

We earned a Firewise USA ® Community certificate in 2025.  The designation reflects our commitment to reducing wildfire risk and protecting our homes, families and neighborhoods.  This means that we fund vegetation fuel reduction along our streets, in our front yards, common areas and open space to reduce fire risk.

Our Mission

The mission of the EDCFSC is to protect the people of El Dorado County and their property from the effects of catastrophic wildfire through education, cooperation, innovation, and action.
